In the construction phase, our teams supervise, check and carry out the acceptance procedure for earthworks - geotechnical engineering missions G3/G4:

• Acceptance of subformation levels
• Trial areas (establishment and monitoring)
• Supervision/inspection of backfilling and/or soil treatment operations (type of  materials used, compaction, etc.)
• Acceptance of capping layers under buildings or roads
• Supervision/inspection of trench backfilling 
• Clearing of hold points on your building sites
• Geotechnical assistance during construction
• External control

Possible checks and controls these assignments may include (non-exhaustive list):

• Instrumentation to measure settlement under backfill
• Plate bearing tests
• Compaction tests using a nuclear density gauge
• Constant and variable energy penetrometer tests
• Soil and aggregate analyses in our laboratories  (Avignon, Toulouse, Parisian region) 
• Installation and monitoring of instrumentation
• Geotechnical investigations according to the needs of the project (core drilling, penetrometer, pressuremeter, etc.)

In the construction, our teams supervise, check and carry out the acceptance procedure for pavements and roadways - geotechnical engineering missions G3/G4:

• Analysis of company documents
• Visits to mixing plants before work begins
• Supervision/checking of asphalt laying or concrete pouring (spreading temperature, compacting, density, binder content, deflection, etc.)
• Checking of pavement adherence (MTD macrotexture PMT)
• Clearing of hold points on your building sites
• External control

• Deflection
• Nuclear density gauge
• Macrotexture (MTD tests)
• Analysis of bituminous coated materials in our Toulouse laboratory: binder content, particle size distribution, density, needle penetration tests, etc.
• Preparation of concrete samples, slump cone tests
