The reconstruction of the gangway involved the replacement of 4 large-diameter dolphins (2032 mm and 20 to 35 mm thick).
Forming a 72-metre long berthing quay, the dolphins are linked together by a gangway with its own pile foundations
The project is situated on the old delta of the Rivière des Galets.
The formation on the site consist of alluvium with a very wide range of particle sizes, ranging from more or less loamy sand to basalt blocks and taking in pebbles and gravel.
G5 geotechnical diagnostic survey involving checking the stability of the banks before and after the installation of the piles for the gangway.
G3 geotechnical construction study including an analysis of the geomechanical parameters of the geological formations in which the structures are embedded.
