With the support of our central Scientific and Department Direction and its regional resources, our geotechnical engineers design and dimension geotechnical structures, from the simplest to the most complex.

To do so, they use a wide range of third party software, as well tools developed in-house and integrated into our digital transformation programme.

Analysis and tabulation software

For all geotechnical investigations and tests, but also for hydrogeological and environmental tests - in situ testing

  • SOILCLOUD: web application for analysing, interpreting, modelling survey data acquired in situ, geotechnical test data, water level measurements, environmental measurements. 
  • EXGTE, EXPRS and software developed by Fondasol: inclinometer.

Modelling and calculation software for geotechnical structures

  • FOXTA and GEOFOND: dimensioning of superficial and deep foundations
  • TALREN and GEOSTAB: slope stability and failure calculation (embankment stability)
  • K-REA and RIDO: calculation of retaining walls (diaphragm walls, Berliner walls, sheet piles, piles, etc.)

PYXIS

  • Web application comprising a set of geotechnical engineering design tools, ranging from foundation design, seismic design, calculation of stability and underground hydraulics to the analysis of specific test results.
  • It places the soil models defined by the user at the heart of each project.  Each tool meets one or more calculation standards. 
  • It is able to communicate directly with SOILCLOUD, another web application used to analyse data acquired in situ.

checked and validated internally for over 15 years, covering issues relating to:

  • Foundations, ground improvement, settlement
  • Underground hydraulics
  • Seismic design, liquefaction studies
  • Retaining structures and wall stability

CAMELIA / CATAMAREN / MURETTES

  • Design tools developed to deal with the issues of the concrete foundation blocks of tetrapod and monopod pylons and walls according to standard RTE 2020 (Issue 2), published by the CNER.
  • These tools take account of the latest applicable regulations (Eurocodes + RTE specifications).
